Oil on canvas depicting a clash between bandits and soldiers, attributed to Gaspare Diziani and authenticated by Prof. Egidio Martini. I report an extract from the authentication: "...including the splendid Clash between brigands and soldiers (70 x 100 cm), previously part of the Orsi collection in Milan. I believe that, in addition to the figures, the background landscape can also be a work by Gaspare himself, as suggested by the broad and vigorous brushstroke of the trees and the more direct and less detailed composition of the different planes..."
